1.7 Government Funded Courses

The Victorian Training Guarantee (VTG) – Government Funding

With the Victorian Government improving the training system, 2013 will be a great time to make a start on gaining new skills or upgrading your existing skills.  This will assist you in obtaining that hairdressing qualification you’ve always wanted. Under this agreement all training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.

2013 – Am I eligible?
If you are under 20 years of age, you are eligible for a government subsidised training place (subject to admission requirements and availability).

If you are 20 years of age or older, you are eligible for a government subsidised training place (subject to admission requirements and availability).

If you are 20 years of age or older, you are eligible for a government subsidised training place that will get you a higher qualification than you already hold: Certificate  II, III, or IV (subject to admission requirements and availability).

Individuals accessing training under VTG will be eligible to:
- commence a maximum of 2 government subsidised courses in 2013;
- undertake training in no more than 2 government subsidised courses at any one time.

The student tuition fees are indicative only and subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment. Additional fees may apply such as student services and amenity fees’.

- Enrolment with valid concession $113.40
- Enrolment without concession $567
- BIBA Academy Learning Guide $40
- BIBA Academy Activity Book $40
- BIBA Academy Amenities Fee $60
- Tools for trade. Students have an option to source their own equipment as per BIBA Academy equipment list. Or equipment can be purchased through the office.

SIH30111 Certificate III in Hairdressing
- Enrolment with valid concession maximum $367.40
- Enrolment without concession maximum $1837.00
- BIBA Academy Learning Guide $40
- BIBA Academy Activity Book $80
- BIBA Academy Amenities Fee maximum $220
- Tools for trade. Students have an option to source their own equipment as per BIBA Academy equipment list. Or equipment can be purchased through the office.
