Established in 1995, the first BIBA Academy was developed on founder Paul Divitaris’ belief that continual education drives inspiration, motivation and the provision of world-class service. With experience working in London for Vidal Sassoon and Alan International, Paul understands that continuity and culture breed success. BIBA Academy opened with the aim to cultivate internal staff on the brand’s philosophy, textbook structure, noble colour direction and irrefutable passion for hair.
Word of the innovative concept and creative know-how defining BIBA Academy soon spread, and requests to train staff from external salons grew rapidly. Fourteen years later, BIBA now has two successful academies training over 250 hairdressers a year.

BIBA believes that all students must choose a training academy reflecting the style of work they wish to pursue once qualified. Therefore, we offer all local prospective students a TWO DAY orientation trial FREE of charge – providing opportunity to experience the course firsthand – ultimately resulting in a more informed decision regarding training needs. During the orientation period, we encourage students to discuss the course with our educators to ensure they receive the appropriate feedback regarding our training.
